Okay, I truly don't know how this happened--I swear!
I am not complaining, but I have to be totally honest--I did not exercise, I did not write down my food, and I did not overload myself with water.
I was careful with my food choices, so I guess that counts for something, huh??
I did have several episodes this week of feeling sorry for myself, and feeling down. Oh, I can't have this, or man, I should not eat that......
So far, I am down -12.2 lbs.
I know what I have to do this week:
track my food
journal my bad thoughts and re-frame them
exercise
drink water
I can do this!! I know I can--I have to lose this weight and keep it off for good!

Weight Watchers--Week 2
Up 1.4 lbs
I was not happy about it, but I'll do better next week!!
Non-scale victories
1. At O'Charley's to celebrate Paul's Mom's birthday, I drank water and had 1 roll!
2. When we drove to Chattanooga, I packed some healthy snacks and water for me.
3. Paul and I ate out at Jim & Nick's, and I chose a catfish sandwich. The waiter asked if I wanted it fried or grilled, and I chose grilled!!
4. I only ate fast food breakfast 2 days this week!
5. I only had 1 Coke this week.
6. I took the stairs at work this week every day.
7. Every snack I had this week was carrots or apples.
8. I wrote down everything that I put in my mouth!!
I could have done better at:
drinking more water each day to flush out bad stuff
eating breakfast at home
more walking
So, I am back at it this week and looking forward to having victory at the scale!

My first week on Weight Watchers!
Well, my first week on Weight Watchers is over and I lost 8 lbs. I am very pleased with that.
I have to admit that I did not get any activity points, and I did eat out several times.
I was lazy and did not wake up in time to fix my planned breakfast every day, so I had to grab something at McDonald's about 3 times. I did choose an Egg McMuffin and a milk, so that was within my points.
I ate out at Wendy's once and opted for a baked potato and chili, which was a good choice. I also ate at Fazoli's and I asked for wheat penne pasta and I had 2 dry breadsticks with no garlic butter. Bless Paul's heart, he even ate dry breadsticks with me! They were gross, too!!
Both times I ate out, I went to their website and researched some choices and figured out what the points would be, so that I was prepared. I also ate some raw carrots beforehand.
I wrote down everything I ate and counted the points, even the last 3 Lifesavers that I found when I was cleaning out my purse!!
My first big goal that I have set with my doctor is to lose 80 lbs by end of July. She wants me to be able to eventually come off my cholesterol, and blood pressure medicines. I am on a low-dose right now, and I think this is going to be do-able for me. My doctor is going to check on me every 2 months and see how I am doing. She is very concerned about me and does not want me to become diabetic.
My goal this week is to wake up earlier and fix my own breakfast at home every day this week. And, I am going to commit to walking for 10 minutes each day.
